It's going to be tough for Kane to do it at international level in a team as turgid as England. One of the things that strikes me is that while he's got a great shot on him, there isn't one part of his game that stands out. But there isn't any aspect of his game that you would call a weakness either. His goalscoring record for the past three seasons is exceptional and he's still only 23. It revolts me to say it but it's going to be interesting to see how he gets on in against better teams in the CL next year.
One who hasn't been mentioned but who looks a genuine prospect at the top level is Rashford. He seems to be able to make goals for himself out of very little.

If we are talking about the Premier League it doesn't matter that Kane hasn't done it anywhere else.

IMO, the best goalscorer to ever have played in PL is Aguero....but his best days are behind him.
The best current CF is Kane.

Ibrahimović because he has done it internationally as well although age and injury seems to have caught up with him. Aguero because even when not quite on song he can come up with something and you just can't mark him out of the game.
Kane is a good PL striker but to be classed as a top striker he has to do it Internationally as well.

Ibrahimovic is easily the best one out of all of them if all in their prime, but the man is probably finished now with this injury, so going forward it would be Aguero for me.
Kane looks excellent in the premiership, but whenever I see him in Europe or for England he's anonymous.

I think there's an argument for Ibrahimovic. All the others cited, bar Lukaku, play for teams that dominate the opposition massively in the vast majority of matches they play. Every time I see possession stats, Man Utd seem to be second best, often even against the lesser teams.
The fact that he's managed 17 goals in 28 games playing for a bang average team at his age is exceptional. Interesting to see that he struggled to adapt at first and that his goals have tended to be a lot less spectacular than those he was banging in for PSG. Irrespective, he found a way to get goals and that just confirms what a great player he is.
Costa is too massive a cunt to be considered a great player. Lukaku is wildly overrated for me. Watch his technique on the ball, he's all over the shop but his power and pace let him get away with it. Unfortunately, if I could have one of these at WHU it'd be Kane. I too will enjoy watching him play for a proper team in the future. And he will.

Vexed, you're in denial to say it's idiot talk, but it's understandable considering who he plays for.
He's a bit like (though obviously not as good as) Dean Ashton without the injuries and it winds me right up.

Aguero over the last few years, and though it pains me to say it, Kane for the next few years.
Just like it was with Bale, I hope he is sold to someone like Real Madrid soon so I can enjoy his game more.
